INTERPRETATION OF GUATEMALA
A nation in Central America bordered by Mexico. It is the most populated country of Central America which is heavily centralized in urban areas. Its territory once was the core of Maya civilization. It had civil war for over thirty years before the UN negotiated peace. It still struggles with high poverty, crime, instability and drug trade and ranks low on the HDI. It has high emigration numbers. It has some of the worst health care in Latin America with high infant mortality rates. One of the lowest literacy rates in Central A.

Religion- Christianity = RC-48%, Protestant- 34% other-2%, 17% none
The Maya religion continues and is mostly incultarated with Catholicism, and the government has established altars at the Maya ruins to facilitate traditional ceremonies. It has morphed with the mixture, but ancient Mayan practiced child sacrifices to appease the gods.

It vibrated in my Spirit that the source of the poverty and high infant mortality was the ancestral Mayan roots of worshiping other gods with blood sacrifice. Turn with all your whole heart to serve the Lord Jesus Christ
Psa 106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
