INTERPRETATION OF KUWAIT
Kuwait part of the Arabian Middle East located on the Persian Gulf . Its national religion is Islam and its flag reflects that allegiance to the Pan Arab nations.
Its name means “fortress built near water”. One of its iconic structures are its water towers, 31 in all, for the capital city of Kuwait.
It is the only GCC country besides Bahrain to have a local population of Christians that are citizens.
It is an oil rich nation and is one of the 6th largest oil reserves in the world. It has one of the regions highest gender equalities. It is considered a cultural hub in that area and dubbed the ‘Hollywood of the Gulf” because of its many soap operas.
Total population is around 4.5 million, but only about a million are Kuwaitis, the reast are Arab and Asian expatriates(refugees, outcasts)
