INTERPRETATION OF DAN PROPHETIC FLAG
This flag was created from recognized lore about the Tribe of Dan.
Jacob who became Israel had twelve sons and Dan was son number 5 and that number is in the Jewish star in the right bottom corner. Dans name is written in English at the top and in Hebrew on the bottom.
The center of the flag contains the heraldic image of the justice scales with a serpent for Dan that is taken from the prophesy of Jacob in Genesis 49:16-17 --” Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.”
It is thought that Dan was the ringleader in the plot against Joseph. The tribe of Dan led Israel in idolatry in the promised land and is known today as the missing tribe as he is was not blessed by Moses in Deuteronomy and is omitted in the lists of the tribes in Revelation. It is thought that perhaps Judas Iscariot was a Danite and possibly the anti-Christ will come from that tribe.
The image is encapsulated in the Hebrew letter “YUD or YOD”. In Jewish mystical tradition, Yud represents a divine point of energy. Since Yud is used to form all the other letters and since God uses the letters as the building blocks of creation, Yud indicates Gods omnipresence. Yud is considered the starting point of the presence of God in all things and the “spark” of the Spirit in everything.
The background of the flag is in the color of the Turquoise stone that is associated with Dan and thought to represent this tribe on the ephod.
Tevet is the 10th month of the Hebrew monthly calendar that correlates to our Roman calendar from mid Dec-Jan.and is the month associated with the Tribe of Dan.
