INTERPRETATION OF GREAT BRITAIN
Great Britain is a federation of three nations that make up one of the largest Island nations, England, Wales and Scotland. They are governed by the Monarchy, the Queen of England.
Great Britain is famous for its White cliffs or walls. The name Britain means “ the land of the Great Tattooed People”, I immediately thought of Isaiah 49:1, 16 “ Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.... Behold, I have graven (tattooed) thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.”
INTERPRETATION OF IMAGERY ON FLAG
Central to the flag are three hands reaching down from heaven to symbolize the hand of God. There is a hand of each nation and written, tattooed upon each one is the name of the nations that make up Great Britain. The background is of royal purple, a color to symbolize royalty-- both earthly and spiritually. The flag is a call to these nations to know God Almighty has them and is their true King.
